Get Better Results With Experian Boost

As part of our mission to bring Financial Power to All™, Experian now allows our members who have few or no credit accounts to improve their credit immediately using Experian Boost®ø. For those who already have Experian Boost, taking this step is crucial to getting the most benefit from the feature.

To take advantage of this opportunity, you will need to go into your Experian account and disconnect and then reconnect the bank accounts you use for Experian Boost, which should only take a few minutes. Please follow these steps:

  1. Log in to your Experian membership account.
  2. Navigate to "My Profile" and choose "Connected Accounts."
  3. Disconnect the bank accounts that Experian Boost uses to collect payment information (such as the checking account you use to pay your utility, phone and streaming bills).
  4. Reconnect those same bank accounts. Then search for utility, phone, streaming and other payments eligible for Experian Boost (these may be the same accounts that were previously connected as part of Experian Boost). Eligible payments will have recognizable names such as "Netflix®" and consist of at least three months of on-time payments over the past six months.
  5. Verify the information found and choose which bills to include.
  6. Sit back and watch your credit history grow.
