I read that divorce does not impact your credit scores, but I’ve heard from people who are divorced that said it damaged their credit. If it doesn’t impact your scores, how does it damage your credit?

I have a dispute with a security alarm company. They have implied a contract extension on a policy that I did not approve. Can I dispute the score? I have a creditor that hasn’t reported me current on several opened accounts. I show current with Experian and one of the other credit agencies but there is no account data with the third. I show the lowest score from them.
