How do I get all my information removed from Experian files and databases? I want zero affiliation with credit scores. I am comfortable with a credit score of zero.
I am beginning a government-sponsored HAMP mortgage modification program. My lowered first three trial mortgage payments will be reported as “partial payments.” After the trial period they will be reported as “modified.” How bad will this affect my credit score?
An eviction is showing on my credit report, per the leasing company I submitted an application to. I have never received paperwork for an eviction, but when I contacted the courts, they show an eviction was filed against me and dismissed. They say there is no judgment against me. How can I go about removing this as it’s preventing me from finding new housing because it doesn’t show “dismissed” on my credit report.
I recently had my credit checked for a preapproval on a new home purchase and found that my credit scores and my wife’s had dropped from the high-700s to mid-600s due to two late mortgage payments on an investment property that we had quitclaimed to a family friend.
I spoke with the family friend who advised us that she never received the bills. She said it’s all paid up to date now, but I am so mad that our credit score dropped as a result. I want the property to be put in her name so that our credit will not be affected if she misses a payment again.
Is there any way to show proof to the mortgage company that the property was quitclaimed in 2009, and therefore, the bill does not come to us?.
I filed bankruptcy in 2005. It is still showing on my credit report – in 2014. How do I get it removed?
We got our credit card information stolen when they hacked into a major retailer’s system. The fraud charges caused our credit card balance to go over the limit. Experian is now reporting that we were over the limit on our account. Why? It was clearly not our fault, but when our credit report is viewed it reflects negatively on us.
I could not get my report online. It said I had to request it by mail. How and what do I do to do that?

On your website, you state that you update credit card payments when my bank does. My credit report from your institution is three months behind. This is affecting my credit scores and causing me to be denied credit.
Should the hard inquiry I have on my credit report from applying for credit be removed if I ended up getting approved and establishing credit with the credit card company?
