Before joining Experian, Upavan was part of HSBC North America's credit risk analytics division, where he focused on mortgage servicing and loss-mitigation analytics. He holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science and Engineering and has a prolific publication record, with 13 research papers published in esteemed international journals and conferences.
