My name is Tosha Eagles-Williams, I’m the Chief Operations Officer at First United Services Credit Unions. I’ve been there about 20 years. I’m responsible for marketing, lending and call-center operations.
One of the challenges the credit union is facing is growing our business, staying current and relevant with our current membership as well as attracting new members. We want to deepen the wallet share of our current members.
We’ve used Experian credit reporting services for about 25 years. We’ve also just recently implemented Income Insight to assess members’ ability to repay. Last year we signed up for the Risk and Retention Triggers. So far we’re very happy with the Risk Triggers because we’re able to get early signs of possible delinquency or default. The Retention Triggers product gives us an opportunity to cross-sell to our current members to deepen that wallet share. We can know exactly what they’re shopping for.
