Changing lives, improving futures
Experian is deeply committed to making an important difference in each of the communities in which we operate and live. By fostering lasting relationships with nonprofit organizations, funding local initiatives and providing community support, the company is able to champion a number of important causes while simultaneously promoting a strong culture of caring from within.
The Heart of Experian Community Involvement program is an integral part of Experian’s commitment to corporate responsibility. Our involvement in the communities in which we work and live is a key element in our focus on making a better world for our employees and society at large.
Experian® realizes that its employees’ talents extend well beyond their achievements in the workplace. Personal and professional development is continually fostered through a variety of volunteer activities and initiatives, including financial support, matching opportunities and event coordination.
Through our community outreach efforts, Experian empowers employees to take an active role in surrounding neighborhoods, strengthening ties to the community and building a variety of dedicated relationships. In addition, employees often learn new skills and hone team-building practices while contributing to the community’s social well-being.
Our primary locations collaborate with local schools to provide student awards, computer labs, educational materials, business support and volunteer opportunities. Experian also has a dedicated skills-based volunteer program, where we train our employees in our financial literacy outreach materials so they, in turn, can help educate organizations, community groups, businesses and students about credit reports, credit scores and financial literacy basics.
As a company, Experian is proud to lend financial support to a number of community services and organizations, but when it comes to community involvement, our people truly make the difference. Through the relationships that bloom between our employees and community organizations, we can really see the impact of our commitment. By encouraging a positive, passionate spirit of involvement and working together as a team, we at Experian strive to make a real difference in the world in which we live and work.
