We’ve established partnerships with various supplier diversity outreach organizations within the United States, including the National Minority Supplier Development Council, the Women’s Business Enterprise National Council and the National LGBT Chamber of Commerce to identify, connect and support certified minority suppliers.

To be considered a diverse supplier, a company must meet the following qualifications:
- Be a for-profit enterprise, regardless of size, that’s located in the United States or one of its trust territories that is at least 51% owned, operated and controlled by one or more U.S. citizens that identify as an ethnic minority, woman or veteran, LGBTQ+ or person with disabilities
- Be recognized by a certifying agency as shown in our “Get Certified” section below or by other federal or state agencies
- Other certifications may be recognized on a case-by-case basis
For a company to be considered a small business, they must meet the following basic qualifications:
- Be a for-profit enterprise that operates primarily in the United States or makes a significant contribution to the U.S. economy through payment of taxes or use of U.S. products, materials or labor
- Be certified by and eligible for assistance from the Small Business Administration
- Meet the numerical size standards defined in the Small Business Size Regulations
