Joseph Mayans is the founder and principal economist of Advantage Economics, LLC. Joseph previously led macroeconomic research at Zions Bank and produced the bank’s public-facing economic content for its branches throughout Utah, Idaho, and Wyoming. Prior to his work as an economist, Joseph served as legislative staff for US Senator Jerry Moran (KS) where he specialized in financial services, small business, and technology policy. He has a master’s degree in economics from Wichita State University in Kansas.
