Introducing #CreditChat Live From Boston: A Limited Series Featuring Jump$tart Educators on the Future of Financial Literacy

Welcome to #CreditChat Live From Boston, a special limited #CreditChat Live podcast series where we sit down with educators from the Jump$tart National Educator Conference to discuss the future of financial literacy — launched in celebration of Financial Literacy Month.
Observed every April, Financial Literacy Month has deep roots in the financial education movement. It began as Youth Financial Literacy Day, started by the National Endowment for Financial Education (NEFE), which brought it to the Jump$tart Coalition to promote among its partners. In 2000, the Jump$tart Coalition expanded that single day into the entire month of April — first as Financial Literacy for Youth Month, eventually becoming simply Financial Literacy Month. In March 2004, the U.S. Senate passed Resolution 316 with unanimous consent, officially designating April as National Financial Literacy Month.
Hosted by Christina Roman and Rod Griffin, these interviews were recorded live at the Jump$tart National Educator Conference (NEC) in Boston, Massachusetts — an annual, all-scholarship event bringing together PreK–12 educators committed to teaching personal finance. The conference, held under the theme “Together We Shine,” provided the perfect backdrop for candid, inspiring conversations with teachers and advocates on the front lines of financial education. As a proud Jump$tart partner, Experian is committed to advancing financial literacy for all — and this series is a reflection of that shared mission.
