At Experian, behind every statistic, innovation and sustainability commitment is a person with dreams, challenges and aspirations. That’s why I’m especially proud to share RECLAIM: Stories of Passion and Perseverance, a new documentary produced by our Sustainability team that brings those human stories to life.
The film follows five individuals across the United States, Brazil and the United Kingdom whose experiences demonstrate how access to financial tools, information and support can help unlock opportunity. Their journeys are deeply personal, yet they reflect a universal truth: when people have access to the right resources, they are better positioned to move forward with confidence and build a stronger future.
In Brazil, we meet Almir and Simone, who each faced financial hardships that limited their options. In Tucson, Arizona, Elizabeth’s story highlights the financial strain that can follow an unexpected health crisis. Across the Atlantic in London, Rochelle’s journey shows how greater understanding of personal finances can help people feel more empowered in their daily lives, especially while balancing the responsibilities of caring for loved ones. The documentary also shines a light on healthcare innovation in Cleveland, Ohio, where technology is helping healthcare organizations simplify administrative processes and focus more attention on what matters most: patient care.
As Chief Sustainability Officer, I’ve long believed that sustainability is ultimately about people. It’s about creating the conditions for individuals, families and communities to thrive. At Experian, we believe data, technology and innovation can be powerful forces for good when used responsibly and inclusively. That belief is reflected in our work every day and throughout the stories featured in RECLAIM.
I hope this film inspires viewers as much as it inspired our team. These stories remind us that resilience is everywhere, and that opportunity often begins with access.
Because when people can reclaim their financial footing, they can reclaim possibilities for the future.
