High Energy Meets High Performance at Experian Health’s Annual Client-Focused Summit

Experian Health High-Performance Summit 2025 Stage

Experian Health’s High-Performance Summit (HPS) 2025 brought together top patient access and revenue cycle leaders to the heart of Nashville for an energizing two days of collaboration and connection. From insightful client-led educational breakouts to thought-provoking peer-to-peer roundtables with Experian Health leaders, attendees exchanged insights on how they are tackling some of healthcare’s toughest challenges (continually rising denials, anyone?) and planning for big changes in healthcare policy based on the One Big Beautiful Bill Act (OBBBA).

A standout theme this year was the transformative role of AI — a powerful tool that serves as Experian Health’s intelligence layer for modern revenue cycle operations — underscoring a commitment to building innovative solutions that simplify healthcare for its clients.

Across 35 unique sessions and two inspiring, collaborative and fun-packed days, five key themes emerged at HPS 2025.

Facing complex challenges, RCM leaders can navigate the future with AI, functional solutions and expert consultation

Jason Considine, President at Experian Health, speaking in his keynote presentation at HPS 2025.

There is no shortage of obstacles for today’s revenue cycle decision-makers. From regulations and workforce shortages to rapid technological advancements and tightening margins, the path is not wide, flat, or easy.

But focusing on the obstacles instead of opportunity is short-sighted, hinted Jason Considine, President at Experian Health. In his keynote presentation, Jason kicked off HPS 2025 with a candid look at the state of the industry and how Experian Health is helping providers navigate these challenges with AI and automation.

“The future vision is clear: Technology must be used to amplify human expertise, not replace it.”

Denials are a painful trend, but Patient Access Curator can be the salve

Since its debut two years ago, Patient Access Curator (PAC) has become a main stage, breakout and lunchtime topic at HPS. Some of this year’s most popular sessions explored PAC, an innovative tool powered by AI and machine learning that simplifies real-time patient data collection — making the intake process faster, smarter and more efficient.

Clients described PAC as a “game changer,” and shared success stories of how the solution verifies and updates patient data, uncovers additional insurance coverage, and completes eligibility checks all within seconds.

It’s Big. It’s…. Beautiful?

If current challenges weren’t enough for revenue cycle leaders, they’re also preparing for what’s next: the One Big Beautiful Bill Act (OBBBA). While many revenue cycle leaders are still trying to understand what, exactly, the new legislation means for their organizations, there’s growing concern about the bill’s potential impact on patient coverage, financial workflows and administrative complexity.

Mindy Fortson, Chief Operating Officer at Experian Health, presents on preparing for the One Big Beautiful Bill Act.

“Compliance is no longer a checkbox; it’s mission-critical to survival and success,” said Mindy Fortson, Chief Operating Officer at Experian Health. “To overcome these challenges, providers must pivot from reactive problem-solving to proactive optimization and embrace advanced technology. This next phase will focus on giving staff the technology, support, and insights they need to provide a better patient experience,” she said.

Embracing AI, the intelligence layer for modern RCM

Clarissa Riggins, Chief Product Officer at Experian Health, presents on embracing AI at HPS 2025.

AI is ubiquitous today, but its general application in healthcare revenue cycle management isn’t as simple as boosting efficiency and accuracy. Knowing where, when, why, and how to apply technology is where art meets science.

“Experian Health’s AI is the intelligence layer of modern revenue cycle management, applied where and when it makes sense for our clients,” said Clarissa Riggins, Chief Product Officer at Experian Health.

Healthcare organizations leveraging AI are already realizing tangible benefits within their revenue cycle — including fewer claim denials, faster reimbursements and meaningful cost savings — yet many questions remain for providers.

Raj Mittra, VP of Technology, led a dynamic panel featuring healthcare leaders living through the AI transformation in real time, sharing their perspectives on navigating AI adoption in complex health systems.

Conversations around AI offered a forward-looking vision — into a future optimized by AI, powered by data-driven automation and infused with empathy. By integrating AI into their revenue cycle strategy, healthcare providers can unlock smarter, more efficient workflows and improved patient access.

Peer-to-peer open conversations pave the way for real-world applications

Consulting Lead Cari Cesaro Hoffman led a dynamic panel discussion to hear from clients on how they’re navigating the complexities of charity care, compliance and collections.

To close out HPS 2025, Kate Ankumah, Director of Product Management, offered an inspiring look at Experian Health clients who dove in head-first with AI and Patient Access Curator – sharing best practices, key considerations and lessons learned.

By design, HPS is unique in that it allows Experian Health clients to create, craft and deliver real-world experiences among an audience of their peers. It’s not your typical product show-and-tell, led by corporate product managers – it’s a collaborative experience unique to Experian Health clients, centered around what they want to learn more about.

Experian Health’s 2025 High-Performance Summit was a catalyst for collaboration, innovation and a shared commitment to simplifying healthcare – for both providers and the patients that they serve.
