In celebration of National Grandparents Day, Experian Simmons reviewed grandparents and eating out. Specifically, we took a deeper look into their fast food behavior and preferences.

Key insights in this report include:

• 15% of grandparents are more likely to eat at a fast food restaurant with children under 12 than they are with 12-17 year olds.
• There has been an increase in the number of times grandparents go to fast food restaurants every month.
• Grandparents’ favorite fast-food restaurants include: McDonalds, Burger King, Subway, Wendy’s and KFC.
