Experian Marketing Services Leadership Team
As Group President of Experian Marketing Services, Matt Seeley is responsible for overseeing all areas of the business with a primary focus on revenue growth, market penetration and client engagement. Additionally, Matt is focused on successfully bringing products to market that enable organizations to effectively target and engage their customers across channels.
Matt Seeley has been a pioneer of digital marketing over the past decade. Under his leadership, Matt led Experian CheetahMail to become one of the largest and most successful email services companies in the industry, and was instrumental in facilitating the company’s global expansion into 9 countries around the world.
Jonathan 'Jonno' Hulford-Funnel is the Group Operating Officer for the global Experian Data Quality business, responsible for global strategic direction and operations. Jonno and his management team work to grow the Experian Marketing Services’ core value proposition and deliver technology and services that serve the growing data quality space.
Jonno joined the Experian Group as part of the QAS acquisition in 2004 whilst being based out in Boston. Alongside his position with Experian Data Quality, Jonno is also the Managing Director for Marketing Services EMEA, represented in four core countries: France, Germany, Spain and the Netherlands.
In addition, Jonno has contributed to Experian's overall culture change program. He's actively driven several successful acquisitions and is known for taking on the difficult challenges in business.
Jonno is also a graduate of London Business School's Senior Executive Program.
Tom joined Experian in July 2013 as Managing Director of Experian Marketing Services in the UK & Ireland. Tom is responsible for overall business performance in the region, leading Experian Marketing Services as it grows its consumer insight and targeting, data quality and cross-channel marketing services. Additionally, Tom is Head of the Consumer Insights and Targeting Global Product Line.
Prior to joining Experian, Tom spent 18 years with Capgemini where he held various executive roles, including CEO of UK Consulting. Most recently he focused on the consulting specialism of digital transformation.
Tom has a strong client-focus, having worked with enterprise clients across a range of industries in his previous roles with Capgemini, Ernst & Young and Exxon Mobil.
Michael Meltz leads the global strategy and business development. In his role, Michael drives the global strategy, advances our strategic position against our competitors, coordinating our product development plans and working closely with corporate development to build up and manage our M&A pipeline.
Michael comes to Experian from J.P. Morgan and Bear Sterns where he was a Senior Equity Research Analyst, covering the Information Services and Media industries. He has extensive experience in business information/analytics, media measurement and consumer market research, TV broadcasting, magazines, direct marketing, credit rating agencies, credit bureaus, financial databases and educational and library publishing.
Michael earned a B.B.A. degree with Distinction from the Goizueta Business School at Emory University in Atlanta, GA.
Ashley Johnston, Senior Vice President, Global Marketing, brings over 15 years of experience across a variety of marketing disciplines. Ashley is obsessed with finding ways to bring brands and consumers closer together and leverages her passion for people, fun and innovation to make this a reality. As the primary advocate and brand steward for Experian Marketing Services she takes great pride in maintaining a strong community across our client base, challenging status quo while keeping our customers at the center of everything we do. Well known for her penchant for candy, she’s a proud mom of two, is an adoring wife and always turns towards the sun.

Tom started with the company in 2004 as a Sales Representative. In 2005, he assumed management responsibility for the company's inside sales team that was soon converted into outside sales, covering the southeastern US. In 2007, Tom was promoted to Director of Sales, covering all US operations. He increased new business revenue by 43 percent before assuming the role of Vice President of Sales in 2008. Tom took over North American operations in 2010. Before joining Experian Data Quality, Tom held sales positions at ADP, as well as at DSI Technology Services. Tom Schutz has a BS in Business Communications from the University of Massachusetts-Amherst.
Michael Kennedy currently serves as Finance Vice President for North America Marketing Services. Prior to joining Experian, Michael worked for the consumer products company Procter and Gamble, where he gained experience in corporate strategy, innovation sufficiency, supply chain optimization, acquisitions/divestitures, long range financial planning, customer/channel strategy and project management. Michael graduated from Xavier University with a master’s degree in finance and business administration.
Caliopie Walsh is the Vice President, Human Resources for Experian Marketing Services. In her current role she is responsible for execution of the people strategy for EMS, NA as well as the day to day HR activities around the region. Caliopie has recently returned from an assignment in our Corporate Global Human Resources group based in London. There she headed up the Heart of Experian Culture program as well as several Global Talent programs such as the Experian Business Network, CEO Forum and Global HR Graduate program. Previously in Experian, as a HR Business Partner, she worked with the Global Product Development group for Marketing Services.
Caliopie joined Experian, from Coach Inc., where she was the Divisional Vice President of International. Based in Hong Kong, she ran international HR teams in China, Hong Kong and New York and led the acquisition of the Greater China business from an overseas distributor, built the organization from 2 to 350 employees, added 50 new stores and $100 million in revenue. Before her position at Coach, she held Vice President, HR positions at Sirius Satellite Radio, Cendant Corporation and Screaming Media. She also worked overseas in Hong Kong with DoubleClick/Google as Director HR of APAC, and as a HR Management Associate in Brazil for Citibank.
Caliopie holds a bachelor’s degree in Industrial Organizational Psychology from University of Illinois, Champaign, and a Master’s of Industrial Labor Relations from Cornell University.
