Key findings in the study include:

  • Email volume rose by 17.1 percent in Q3 2014 compared to Q3 2013.
  • Unique open rates were 16.7 percent in Q3 2014 - ahead of 16.2 percent in 2013.
  • Unique click rates were 2.1 percent in Q3 2014, declining slightly from 2.3 percent in Q3 2013.
  • Revenue per email was $0.08 in Q3 2014, matching Q3 2013.
