Parcel2Go wanted to boost its online presence and needed to better understand how search engine marketing could help effectively accomplish this goal.
Using Hitwise, Parcel2Go identified the most effective keywords driving traffic to key competitors in its industry, and variations on those keywords, and implemented them on Google AdWords in February 2006.
Following the start of the pay-per-click (PPC) campaign, Parcel2Go significantly increased the traffic it was receiving from search engines, from 27% in February to 65% in June 2006. In addition, Parcel2Go has more than doubled its market share since February, increasing its rank within the Hitwise Freight & Storage industry from #16 to a high of #5 in April 2006.
