Do you have a question about consumer credit? You may find an immediate answer by using the search engine. If you can't find what you're looking for, please fill out the form, being as specific as possible.
Please note: The Ask Experian team cannot respond to each question individually. However, if your question is of interest to a wide audience of consumers, the Experian team will include it in a future column.
Welcome to the industry's first online consumer advice column. We have been answering your questions for more than 12 years. You may have noticed some changes recently in the look and feel and navigation of the column. Our hope is that the changes will help you more easily find the information you need.
As part of the growth and evolution of the column, we have changed the name from “Ask Max” to “Ask Experian.” While I will continue to host the column, we feel the new name more accurately reflects the many people who are committed to helping you find answers to your questions.
The column has never been written alone. Every response draws on the knowledge of experts in credit reporting, credit scoring, direct marketing, automotive history, identity theft and many other areas of service provided by Experian. While you might not see their names or pictures, you truly do “Ask Experian.”
Thanks for asking.
