Sending change of address to Experian not necessary
Do we need to do a change of address when moving?
No, you don’t need to send a change of address to Experian if you have any open credit acccounts.
It will be updated by your lenders automatically after you notify them that you’ve moved. They will provide your new address the next time they report updates of your account information to Experian.
The new address will become your current address, but previous addresses will continue to appear on your credit report as additional identifying elements.
Thanks for asking.
