He pioneered the patient-friendly billing movement in 1991 at RUSH University Medical Center in Chicago and his efforts lead to the launch of a uniquely human-centered approach to patient-communications at premier health systems like Cedars-Sinai, Stanford Medical Center, Northwestern Memorial Hospital, Advocate, Sutter Health and UCSF. In 2001, Paul developed the industry’s first self-service Online Business Office for patients, which is used by over 500 hospitals in America, touching over 50 million people across the country. Paul is a passionate visionary devoted to using design thinking and developing technology to improve the patient experience.
Stephen brings over 18 years of clinical IT experience in business development and business development tools to support the acquisition and installation of healthcare IT systems and solutions. Stephen is highly accomplished in hospital diagnostics and evaluation of front end Patient Access and Revenue Cycle processes with extensive experience developing business cases and presenting customized, solutions-based software sales demonstrations.
Jim is a highly accomplished healthcare IT executive with dynamic skills in consultative/ diagnostic selling, account management and group presentations. Jim brings 10 years of patient access and revenue cycle expertise to Experian Health. Jim demonstrates an outstanding understanding of the needs of hospitals and physicians regarding revenue cycle, health information systems and web-based ordering software solutions.
Jorge is responsible for developing Experian Health’s PaymentSafe® solution. Jorge has over 20 years of experience working with hospitals to create more efficient, effective and patient-friendly payment solutions at point-of-service. He helped design one of the first POS collection products for the healthcare industry, which is still in use today. He has been with Experian Health and its affiliate companies throughout his healthcare career. Prior to entering the healthcare field, he was a CPA with one of the nation’s top accounting firms.
