About Rachel Keane

Rachel Keane has worked in data recruitment for the past 12 years, and during that time she has gained first-hand experience of the challenges faced by the data industry in building diverse and inclusive teams. 

Motivated by these experiences – and fueled by her sheer passion for working in education, especially supporting young people in finding a fulfilling career path – she founded the Data Inspiration Group in 2021, which has a mission to promote career opportunities offered by the data industry. The Data Inspiration Group is passionate about encouraging students of all ages, abilities and disciplines to realize their full potential in the exciting and fast-growing data industry.

Through the organization’s Digdata program, Rachel and her team are setting out to build strong relationships between educational establishments and industry partners to increase awareness and develop future talent. 

Since 2014, she has been the driving force behind various programs to support commerce and education in the data and analytics space. She has been rewarded immensely for her efforts, and has attended prestigious events such as Downing Street for International Women’s Day, she appeared as a guest on BBC Radio 4’s Woman’s Hour, and she launched a short educational film created by The Rankin Group at the BBC.
