How do you remove child support once it’s paid in full?

Once the child support is paid in full the record should be updated to show “satisfied”. It is up to the legal authority in the state to remove the child support record. If your wages are garnished, the record may not be removed immediately. Because reporting depends on state law, contact the agency you are working with to find out how and when the payments are reported.
