It's supposed to be the most wonderful time of the year—but we all know that the holiday season can also be the most stressful. There's so much pressure to buy the right gifts, host the best parties, make time for family and live up to a picture-perfect holiday that it's enough to turn anyone into a bit of a Grinch.

In fact, according to a survey of more than 1,000 American adults conducted by Experian this fall, holiday shopping is a major cause of stress for one in three Americans. Another 30% of Americans don't want holiday spending to add to their debt.

But there is some good news: Several credit card issuers are offering generous introductory 0% APR financing offers right now. That means you can put your holiday spending on one of these cards and pay the debt off during a promotional financing period without paying any interest at all. As long as you make the minimum payment each month during the introductory period, you won't pay any fees or interest. Once the promotional rate expires, you'll start being charged interest at the standard rate on any remaining balance.
