Experian announces internet delivery access methods
Are you still using Experian’s dial-up network or data access terminals to get the credit data you need for smart decisioning?

It’s time for a change that will speed your data-gathering process. We’re moving forward with new options that give you instant online access to the world’s largest private consumer information database.

As we previously announced, Experian’s dial-up network and data access terminal system will be gone for good very soon. We extended access as long as we reasonably could but must terminate it on May 31, 2004. Now you’ll have a much better way to access our products and services. eSolutions, Net Connect and BizApps are faster, easier, more efficient ways to instantly access all the critical consumer and business data you need to make informed decisions and stay competitive.

All three use highly secure 128-bit encryption technology designed to help meet the data protection requirements established by the federal Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act and related bank examination standards. With the transition to either eSolutions, Net Connect or BizApps, you’ll be using an access method consistent with new consumer privacy and data protection safeguards.

eSolutions (lower volume)
Experian's Web-based application allows clients to pull consumer credit products over the Internet and is ideal for clients requesting single reports. There is no access charge and no special software required. In fact, all you need is a PC, an Internet connection and Microsoft® Internet Explorer.

Net Connect (higher volume)
Net Connect enables clients to access Experian via the Internet through homegrown software or certified software vendors, thus eliminating dial-up costs. There is no Experian per-transaction access fee on Net Connect. Clients with high volume or batch processing needs will find Net Connect ideal.
