Mark Herman joined Experian in April 2009 as an Analytics and Business Consultant in the Decision Analytics group. Prior to joining Experian, Herman worked as a Solution Designer in the New Business Development department at CompuCredit. While at CompuCredit, Herman worked on the development of a wireless communication product for the subprime market. Before CompuCredit, Herman was a Statistical Business Consultant at Acxiom and TransUnion, where he developed statistical models for the direct-marketing, consumer credit and insurance industries. More specifically, Herman has developed scoring models to predict consumer bankruptcy, risk, response/activation, cross-selling and affinity. He has built targeting segmentation systems for the following industries: financial services, bankcard and consumer packaged goods. Prior to Acxiom, Herman worked at Prudential Bank as a Senior Programmer Analyst and as a Risk and Loan Analyst for First North American National Bank (Circuit City).

Herman holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in finance from the University of Georgia and a Master of Business Administration in computer information systems from Georgia State University.

Away from the office, Herman enjoys playing golf and watching college football and basketball.
