Experian Hitwise launches search API and portable dashboard functions

New data applications and integration allow marketers to utilize online consumer behavior insights

 

New York, N.Y., June 16, 2011 — Experian® Hitwise®, a part of Experian Marketing Services, today announced a series of capabilities designed to speed online marketing decisions by enabling new levels of data flexibility.

Experian Hitwise has invested significantly to bring a program of customized data products and services based on online consumer behavioral insights and competitive activity into day-to-day, real-time use for clients.   • Complete internal- and external-view dashboards — Import your Adobe Omniture data into Experian Hitwise dashboards to provide a comparison of how your site trends compare with consumer behavior on competitive Websites
  • Application Programming Interface (API) — Massive volumes of online consumer behavioral data can be accessed programmatically and deployed within a partner platform, whether it’s a content management system, bid management, business intelligence or marketing analytics
