Bankcard delinquencies headed in the right direction

Bankcard delinquencies continued to show improvement at the end of Q1 2011 with delinquencies as a percentage of balances dropping more than 8 percent for the 30-plus, 60-plus and 90-plus delinquency bands compared with the previous quarter. Year-over-year performance also was impressive, improving more than 20 percent for each delinquency band.
