Delinquent dollars increase by almost 80 percent for large companies

The Q3 2011 update to Experian's Business Benchmark Report showed that the national average percentage of dollars delinquent and the percentage of dollars severely delinquent (more than 91 days past due) increased by 11.9 percent and 15.8 percent, respectively, compared with 2010. The largest businesses (with more than 1,000 employees) have seen the greatest increase in percentage of delinquent dollars year over year, increasing by 31.3 percent. This group also exhibited one of the greatest increases in severely delinquent debt year over year, with an increase of 78.8 percent.
