Compliance deadline for a new Risk-Based Pricing Rule is quickly approaching

On January 15, 2010 the Federal Reserve Board and Federal Trade commission finalized legislation that now requires companies to provide a risk-based pricing notice to consumers who receive credit terms that are materially less favorable than the most favorable terms available to a substantial proportion of consumers. With the January 1, 2011 compliance date approaching, organizations need to determine what compliance option is best suited for their business and assess the changes needed to ensure compliance.
