For more than a decade, the World Classic Rockers have brought audiences to their feet with stage performances packed with unforgettable hits. The overwhelming audience response continues to inspire the World Classic Rockers as they perform at corporate events, fairs, festivals and clubs around the world.

Nick St. Nicholas of Steppenwolf

Nick St. Nicholas began his music career in Toronto, Ontario, when he formed a band called the Mynah Birds, a group of unknowns that launched the careers of the king of funk, Rick James, and Neil Young of Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young. One year, he assembled another band called The Sparrow. Using an unknown lead singer, John Kay, as their front man, and with little money in their pockets, St. Nicholas drove the band from Toronto to the Sunset Strip in search of a record deal. Once in Hollywood, The Sparrow changed its name to STEPPENWOLF. A film that became an instant classic, “Easy Rider,” launched the band’s biker anthem, “Born to Be Wild,” into rock and roll history. St. Nicholas toured and recorded on many of Steppenwolf’s gold and platinum albums, including “Early Steppenwolf,” “Steppenwolf Live,” “At Your Birthday Party” and “Monster.” Years later, he formed WORLD CLASSIC ROCKERS, a band that appeals to an entire generation. The band is now in its second decade of outstanding performances and has certainly become the ultimate classic rock all-star band.

Aynsley Dunbar of Journey

Ansley DunbarAs one of the elite drummers in rock and roll history, Aynsley Dunbar made his mark during the 1970s recording on chart-topping hits with David Bowie and Frank Zappa. However, he is best known as the original drummer for JOURNEY, with whom he recorded and co-wrote four albums, including their hugely successful album, “Infinity,” which featured mega-hits “Wheel In the Sky,” “Lights,” “Feeling That Way” and “Anytime.” As the end of the decade neared, he joined Jefferson Starship and helped record the smash-hit songs “Jane” and “Find Your Way Back.” The next decade would prove to be no less successful for Dunbar, as he joined Whitesnake in 1985. With Dunbar on drums, Whitesnake recorded its commercial breakthrough album “Whitesnake 1987,” featuring chart-toppers and MTV video favorites “Is This Love” and “Here I Go Again.”

Randall Hall of Lynyrd Skynyrd

Randall HallRandall Hall made his mark in 1987 when he joined LYNYRD SKYNYRD, a band that rocketed to fame during the 1970s with Southern rock mega-hits “Sweet Home Alabama,” “Free Bird” and “Gimme Three Steps.” It appeared the band’s fast-rising star was to be cut short when their chartered plane crashed in 1977, killing several members. However, Lynyrd Skynyrd regrouped 10 years later, and Allen Collins, who was paralyzed in an auto accident, hand-picked Randall Hall to replace him in the band. During the next seven years with Hall on guitar and vocals, Lynyrd Skynyrd performed sold-out tours throughout the world while recording three hit albums, “Southern By the Grace of God,” “Lynyrd Skynyrd ’91” and “The Last Rebel.” By all accounts, Lynyrd Skynyrd achieved one of the most inspiring comebacks in rock history, and to date the band has sold more than 36 million records.

Greg Walker of Santana

Greg WalkerFor more than a decade with the SANTANA band, Greg Walker thrilled audiences with his dynamic, charismatic style and helped the band achieve eight gold and platinum albums. In the words of Carlos Santana, Walker’s music “is a wonderful combination of street and church music — ‘street’ being raw, sexy, warm and naked; ‘church’ being spiritual, inspirational soulful and sincere.” Walker shares Santana’s soulful R&B style, clearly evident on the Santana hits he recorded, such as “She’s Not There,” “Stormy,” “Open Invitation,” “Dance Sister Dance,” as well as live renditions of the classics “Black Magic Woman,” “Oye Como Va” and “Evil Ways.” Walker recorded and cowrote on several Santana albums, including “Amigos,” “Moonflower,” “Inner Secrets,” “Beyond Appearances,” “Havana Moon” and “Viva Santana.”

Fran Cosmo of Boston

Fran CosmoFran Cosmo was the lead singer on Barry Goudreau’s self-titled solo album, which served as a prelude to the formation of the band Orion the Hunter. Cosmo and Goudreau then released the hit single “So You Ran,” and Cosmo joined the super-group BOSTON as lead vocalist on the multiplatinum disc “Walk On.” With his sky-high vocals leading the way, the album soared to number seven on the Billboard charts. Several years later, Boston would release its next album, “Corporate America,” which featured Cosmo on lead vocals on four of the album’s tracks and marked the return of original lead singer, Brad Delp, to the lineup. The band embarked on a national tour that featured both Goudreau and Cosmo performing together on stage.

Michael Monarch of Steppenwolf

Michael MonarchMichael Monarch, an original founding member and lead guitarist of STEPPENWOLF, provides the World Classic Rockers with the undeniable sound that turned Steppenwolf’s “Born to Be Wild” and “Magic Carpet Ride” into hit songs that would span three decades and continue to be fan favorites throughout the world. After his career with Steppenwolf, Monarch continued to be a successful recording artist, including memorable work with Janis Joplin on her “Kozmic Blues” album.

Fergie Frederiksen of Toto

Fergie FrederiksenFergie Frederiksen joined the Grammy Award–winning band TOTO as its lead singer in 1983. He helped Toto build on its huge success and embark on a sold-out worldwide tour. On this groundbreaking stadium tour, Frederiksen sang many of the band’s hit songs, including “Rosanna,” “Hold the Line,” and “Africa” — all Top Five singles on the Billboard charts. Frederiksen further contributed to Toto’s success by cowriting four songs on the band’s “Isolation” album.

David Coyle and Mark Hoyt

Mark HoytDavid CoyleNick St. Nicholas recruited widely respected musicians David Coyle and Mark Hoyt to join the World Classic Rockers as standout backup support. As a lead guitarist, Coyle studied at the Juilliard School of Music and has worked with Broadway singers. He’s also featured on a number of soundtracks while developing his unique style on the 6-string. Meanwhile, Hoyt has become a sought-after songwriter, session and live performance musician working with such names as Mike Reno (Loverboy), Mickey Thomas (Starship) and Glenn Hughes (Deep Purple), along with many other well-known recording artists. His sizzling keyboard licks along with his uncanny ability to recreate vintage synthesizer and keyboard sounds for live application make him a perfect addition the World Classic Rockers.
