Hootie & the Blowfish
They're back! The response was so overwhelming to the Hootie & the Blowfish performance at the 2006 conference we're bringing them back in 2007! Join us for some unique and exciting entertainment on Tuesday, Oct. 2, as Hootie & the Blowfish perform after dinner just for Vision 2007 conference attendees.

With Looking for Lucky, their first new studio album in two years, Hootie & the Blowfish are ready to begin a brand-new chapter in their already illustrious history. After spending most of 2005 on the road supporting their Best of Hootie & the Blowfish: 1993– 2003 compilation, the band was ready for some new challenges, which resulted in Looking for Lucky.

One of the biggest misconceptions is that Hootie & the Blowfish became an overnight success in 1994 when their debut album, Cracked Rear View, sold more than 16 million copies (and counting) in the United States alone. The album had been out for six months before the band played on the "Late Show with David Letterman." Letterman told his audience, "If you don't have this album, there's something wrong with you." The day after the show aired, sales went from 4,000 or 5,000 a week to 17,000 a week, and the album hit number one on the Billboard charts the following spring.

Cracked Rear View went on to earn two Grammy® Awards: Best New Artist and Song of the Year by duo or group for "Let Her Cry." The band also won Billboard's Band of the Year Award in 1996 and the RIAA's Diamond Award for sales of 10 million units. Cracked Rear View remains the 12th best-selling album in music business history.

If you enjoy the diverse sound of rock, blues, soul, funk and pop, it's time to get Hootified at Vision 2007!
