Experian Business Information Map
This analysis is a United States snapshot of recent business credit data by States and Metro Statistical Area as well as industry. The Experian Business Information Map visually displays four key credit metrics. These metrics include average risk score, average days beyond terms, average delinquency rate and average bankruptcy rates. In addition to these metrics, a year over year view of these metrics can help you discover business trends.
Metrics:
Risk Score – The average Experian IntelliScorePlusSM risk score of the businesses (100 indicating lowest risk and 1 indicating highest risk) in a metropolitan area
Days Beyond Terms - The weighted average number of days that business payments are past due in the metropolitan area (The lower the weighted average number of days the better)
Delinquency – The average percentage of delinquent dollars for businesses in the metropolitan area (The lower the percentage the better)
Bankruptcy – The average rate of businesses filing for legal protection under Chapters 7, 11, 13 or 15 of the bankruptcy code in the metropolitan area (The lower the percentage the better)

View Level:

The map includes the most recent quarter and a year over year analysis at the state and metro statistical area by industry.
