Searches Growing for the Apple Tablet

The annual CES tradeshow is in full swing in Vegas with plenty of announcements about new gadgets, especially tablet computers. One that has not been officially announced yet but has received significant coverage in the media is the Apple Tablet. Last week, before the start of CES, the volume of searches for a portfolio of Apple Tablet related terms increased 8x.

As one would expect, the search terms around the Apple Tablet highlights the curiosity around the upcoming product with searchers seeking information about what the product is, the release date, and photos.

Yahoo! was the top website to receive traffic from the portfolio of Apple Tablet terms for the week ending January 2, 2010, followed by CNET News.com and the Los Angeles Times.
