American Idol – Daughtry on Fire Despite Vote
By popular demand, here’s a quick chart showing the “popularity” of the remaining three American Idol contestants and recently ousted Chris Duaghtry. The amazing take-away from the chart below is the boom in searches for Daughtry after he was voted off the show. So why was he voted off? If you remember my previous post on asking if a search is a vote in reality TV world, while I established that there is a light correlation, in short, there are many reasons why searches and votes may not correlate. Perhaps Chris fell victim to a variation of the Yogi Berra paradox of “that restaurant is so busy that no one goes there anymore,” or in reality TV speak, perhaps he was so talented that no one felt the need to support him w/ a call-in vote. Thoughts?

I think CHRIS Daughtry shouldn’t been kick off American IDol I tried to Vote for him to, I had the same problem too.
i guess it is true about chriss = maybe everyone did think he was so good that they automatically thought he was a sure in by being voted on by others but here is what i suggest with a following like AI has, it should show update polls to allow for people to vote who are at work, ( we dont know what number to dial for our favorite idol)the numbers dont get posted on the internet and you can’t vote via internet some of us cant use cell phones at work or the company phones we cant watch tv, but have free access to the internet.
Isn’t the cause of the spike because he is going to be the lead singer for Fuel?
