About The Data Breach Resolution Blog
This blog is written and maintained by members of the Experian Data Breach Resolution group at Experian Consumer Direct (ECD), the leading provider of online consumer credit reports, credit scores, credit monitoring, other credit-related information, and protection products.
The goal of this blog is to raise awareness about the many considerations, issues and challenges that companies face when addressing a data breach and to help provide educational resources about preparedness and resolution.

Michael Bruemmer – Vice President
Michael Bruemmer is Vice President with the Experian Data Breach Resolution group. A veteran with more than 25 years in the industry, Bruemmer brings a wealth of knowledge related to sales and operations. Most recently, Bruemmer served as the Business Development Director of Consumer Products at ID Analytics where he was responsible for the development and execution of all selling strategies.
Prior to his work in the identity theft and fraud resolution space, Bruemmer was Vice President and General Manager at Lenovo’s Small and Medium Business Group for the Americas. While at Lenovo, he ran their channel network and call center operations in the US, Latin America and Canada.
Currently, he is on the Girl Scout’s Development Board and formerly served on the Board of Trustees for the Trinity Episcopal School in Austin, Texas.
Bruemmer holds a Bachelor of Arts in Labor Economics from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.

Bob Krenek – Senior Director
As a Senior Director with the Experian Data Breach Resolution group, Bob Krenek is responsible for managing national accounts across multiple industry sectors. Bob has a depth of experience in data breach resolution and has managed many of the largest data breach incidents in the country including incidents in the healthcare, financial and government sectors.
Bob has held numerous management positions in the banking industry and is currently the dedicated data breach resolution account manager for one of the nation’s largest healthcare plans.
Prior to joining Experian, he served as Vice President of Sales and Regional Vice President for Clarke American where he managed the national sales force for the credit union division and regional sales force for the banking division.

Ozzie Fonseca – Senior Director
Ozzie Fonseca is a Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP) who serves as Senior Director of Experian’s Data Breach Resolution Group. Ozzie has been involved in the identity protection arena for nearly a decade, and in his current role has managed thousands of data breach response plans for clients of every size, and for events involving from hundreds to millions of victims.
During his tenure, Ozzie has worked with countless privacy and compliance professionals in virtually every industry, and consistently brings to the table his extensive practical experience in handling large scale breach notifications, setting up incident response call centers and in providing best-in-class identity protection and fraud resolution services.
Before his involvement in the privacy arena, Ozzie spent most of his career as an educator in the auto insurance, telecom and credit industries responsible for developing training programs across the corporate spectrum.
Ozzie holds a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Business Administration.
