Michael Morelli is Director of the Experian® Data Breach Resolution group, a leader in helping businesses plan for and mitigate consumer risk following data breach incidents. With more than a decade in the industry, Experian Data Breach Resolution has successfully serviced the largest U.S. data breach in history and some of the highest-profile breaches in the retail and government sectors. Michael is an established professional in the data breach industry with eleven years of experience. As a director at Experian, Michael is responsible for the overall business development and market growth for the group’s business as a breach partner to help manage an organization’s response. In this capacity, he assists companies affected by a data breach notify affected parties, set up a call center, and provide Experian’s proven identity theft protection product, ProtectMyID, to its stakeholders. As a key member of the team, the Data Breach Resolution group has doubled its client base in the last several years and serviced more than 3,000 breaches in 2014. The team has generated exceptional client satisfaction-levels with a 2013 survey showing that 96 percent of clients would consider referring Experian to a colleague and 9 out of 10 noted they are “Very Likely” to choose Experian Data Breach Resolution services in the future. Prior to Experian, Michael managed the launch of a data breach solution business, BreachShield, for the Affinion Group.
