Dispute Results Letter is Sent Automatically

Dear Experian,

Can I get a letter about the results of a dispute after the 30 day mark? I am trying to buy a house and they need the letter.

– KLZ

Dear KLZ,

A letter informing you of the results of your dispute is automatically generated and delivered when Experian receives the creditor’s response to the dispute. It cannot be re-generated.

If your credit report has been updated however, you shouldn’t need the letter. The updated credit report itself will serve as proof for the mortgage lender, although it may need to request an updated copy of your report in order to verify that the changes were made.

Thanks for asking.
